Product Reviews

Best thing since Tupperware
I, too, love this product, and have many variations on it. When we fly I pack a lunch in a Lock & Lock with a handle (the 'ham' size) and fill every inch of it with smaller Lock & Lock containers that hold a variety of lunch items for us; chicken salad, crackers, pickles and relishes, fruit, ice, and crunchies. It's great. The flight attendants never fail to comment positively about them.

When we remodelled the kitchen two years ago, I bought all new Lock & Lock storage containers for cereal, rice, flour, sugar, tea, coffee, pasta, (tall thin ones for spaghetti and linguini), etc. Previous to that we would get 'varmints' hatch in the pasta, and then escape to the rest of the cupboards. That doesn't happen now.(If they did hatch, they couldn't go anywhere in these airtight, waterproof containers.

I wash them in the dishwasher, top shelf safe, and they still look and 'act' brand new.

If you're thinking about filling your cupboards with them, you might want to get squares, or rectangles that stack on top of each other. The rounds are better for fridge storage, I think, or for lunches.

Whatever you decide, you'll love them. Oh, one more thing, they don't get sticky with time like some products do.

Best plastic containers made in my lifetime
I love my Lock & Lock containers. I bought them because I was tired having my lunch leak out of a container, whether it was homemade soup, had gravy or salad dressing. Every other container on the market leaked. So I tried two of these at first. I have had Lock & Lock for 3 years and they have lived up to every thing the manufacturer says. My original containers are still leakproof - I tested them the other day. I own the one pictured and several others. Ever try to carry a bowl of Sangria to a party? Before these containers it was a nightmare. I bought some goat cheese recently. I opened it and threw it into a Lock & Lock. I totally forgot about it and about 3 wks later opened what I thought would be green or black goat's mold - but it was white, creamy and amazingly still goat's cheese. I have a new fridge, but this was still surprising. It really does keep food fresher longer. I also use them for anything that I don't want to get wet in case of flood or hurricane - like passports, etc. and to keep my first aid stuff from the humidity in my area. Great product!

Tall Enough For Spaghetti!
I purchased the 8.4 cup, tall lock and lock container. I was looking for something tall enough to hold spaghetti. The tall containers I had found in grocery and discount stores that hold cereal are just a hair short of being tall enough. This container is tall enough and, like all the other lock and lock products, easy to open and close. They are made of good quality plastic, seal well, and have a variety of shapes and sizes. This is a good product but hard to find at local stores.
